Liked: Staff were extra friendly and helpful. Jason, Devon, Moe and Kiki were very welcoming and kind and accommodating. Luggage storage service and occasional evening BBQs were great extras. My son loved the pool table and table tennis. Tidy, spacious rooms and kitchen facilities were very convenient.

Liked: We really liked the accommodation. The room was large and spacious, with a slightly older design but nothing to complain about. It features a small kitchenette with just the basics—plates and cutlery—sufficient for a short stay. The staff is amazing; everyone was very attentive and went above and beyond to help with any questions. The breakfast, although simple, is also very tasty. The location is fantastic, just one block from the Walk of Fame. The hotel also organizes small gatherings for guests in the central area, which is very comfortable and open. We would gladly stay here again.
Disliked: The Wi-Fi could be improved.

Motel style hostel with super...

Liked: All staffs were super friendly. They kindly let us to check in earlier even though we arrived in the morning because of our flight schedules. It was so helpful as we have been exhausted from long flights. Unexpectedly they have organized a BBQ party for all customers with all you can eat and drink for free while our stay. It was so generous! I could not prevent from tipping in. They seem like they often organize free events without profit. I really admire their attitude as I have found out everywhere in USA has been getting so expensive compared to the last time I traveled. Even though their facilities were old, they have a lot of great facilities which regular hotels don't have such like Karaoke, Billiard, Pin Pong, Football table game and Basketball gall. So you can enjoy your time in LA even in the hotel.
Disliked: Because we stayed in LA during the Greater Los Angeles wildfires, unfortunately sightseeing sites including public museums were all closed during our stay. But it's not hotel's fault. We were just unlucky. Although the area of the hostel didn't have any issues for the fire, as soon as we landed in LA, our smartphones have sent us the automatic alert messages to evacuate from LA continuously. It has freaked us out.
