Disliked: Run down and dilapidated. Grounds were a mess needs major cleanup.

Ok for a short stay

Liked: Good location for exploring the Keys. Sunset bar is in a nice location overlooking the water but don’t expect anything as complicated as a gin and tonic. Nice rooms.
Disliked: The whole place didn’t look well kept. Gardens were very untidy and the pool area was dirty. Safe in room didn’t work and wasn’t fixed whilst we were there.

Liked: The bed was very comfortable, the room was large and clean
Disliked: The breakfast was not good, the fruit platter was empty with no attempt to refill it the hot water for tea is an accident waiting to happen as the cups are polystyrene and hot to hold under the hot water machine. I couldn’t believe for the price I paid everything in the dining room was plastic and polystyrene. I found d this very disappointing

Liked: Reception staff are helpful and friendly.
Disliked: Outside areas including tennis courts, pool area all lack proper maintenance, are all dirty, unloved and unusable. Housekeeping is inadequate.

Liked: It was a good location for us as we wanted to walk out to Pigeon Key
Disliked: The “resort” was quite run down and unkept for the price. I was appalled at the lack of green consciousness. The room had disposable plastic and paper cups (individually wrapped in plastic). The breakfast had all disposable plastic cutlery and plates along with plastic wrapped breads( the green waste was extraordinary). They charged an extra $50 holding fee for possible breakage which we only found out about at checkin and given the plastic/ paper cups etc there is not much to break. Staff were disinterested and unresponsive. Would not stay there again

Liked: location on the keys is perfect for key west room was not serviced on first 2 days room phone did not work (room310)pool area (path round pool had some slippy areas that were not properly maintained)this resort could be so much better if service+ maintenance issues where addressed
