Good but lacking

Liked: Relaxing place. We had a blast at the spa, super recommended. The pool area is beautiful and very enjoyable. I would recommend to spend an entire day at Balneario Vichy Catalan and would only stay the night if you get one of the big renovated suites.
Disliked: Food is of really bad quality. I can't stress enough how I don't recommend getting the buffet. You'll be better off eating food from the cafeteria at the beautiful terrace. The beds were not very comfy and the room was in need of renovation. The staff was not particularly friendly, although the overall environment is welcoming.

Great value hotel spoiled by...

Liked: Lovely looking hotel with nice outdoor heated pool. Dog friendly. The place is,weird. Some areas really nice and upmarket, others really basic. The room was perfectly adequate but was basic and bland. Perfectly acceptable for a one night stay.Food is average.
Disliked: I don't like being lied to by staff. When I made the booking I paid extra for a large room. Dogs, their beds and bowls take up space. We were given a room that was tiny. I went back to reception to ask for what we'd paid for. The receptionist said she was sorry but they were fully booked and had nothing else available On Sunday in October? I stepped back, immediately went onto the hotel's website to see they had plenty of availability. Including the larger room type I'd booked. I showed her the page and she immediately gave me the keys to a much larger room. The receptionist the following morning also found out she'd charged us twice. Unacceptable.

Liked: the outdoor pool, the free factory tour and the breakfast was good as well.
Disliked: the room was worn out and we slept next to the factory/logistics started at 9 so was okay .. but no good views/window, nor did the room look like anything on the pictures.

Absolutely amazing stay!

Liked: Staff was amazing, especially Ines who checked us in! Breakfast in the morning was soooo abundant and delicious, many choices!
Disliked: That we had to leave after only 1 day and can't wait to return!

Liked: The food was excellent, we booked half board. Hotel is spacious with a lovely pool. Very convenient for airport, but no airport noise.
Disliked: Room we had was a bit basic, I thought being a spa hotel there would be more toiletries supplied.
