My stay at Balmoral lodge...

Liked: Absolute pristine views. It was quite a walk up & down the hill daily, but very much worth it & makes you really appreciate Queenstown’s scenery. They cleaned the room daily, with fresh towels & fresh muffins & chocolates😁There was a communal living space where snacks & wine were provided for all guests.
Disliked: Nothing.

Great location, an older but...

Liked: Fantastic and amazing views from the property. Spacious interior with great cooking facilities. Manicured lawn to use at the front and outside dining table and patio, which must be a rarity. We were very comfortable in the unit and able to relax and enjoy the views
Disliked: It was all good and a great place to stay in Queenstown. Without a car it is a 20 min walk uphill from town but this is more than compensated by the view and Ubers are plentiful.

Great Location

Liked: Great location; stunning view over the lake at Queenstown and close to the main shopping area. Clean and comfortable, friendly and helpful staff.

A wonderful stay at balmoral...

Liked: Excellent view. Lovely owner. Warm and cozy room.
Disliked: A bit of an incline to get to the lodge from the centre so would recommend getting a taxi if you have lots of luggage

10/10 Stay! We loved Balmoral...

Liked: We absolutely loved our stay at Balmoral Lodge. The views and setting were incredible and the staff were all very friendly and accomodating. It was lovely to stay at a place with such a welcoming home feel, so much better than a soulless hotel. Benji the dog was also always happy to greet us! The room was large but also very cosy, and the view cannot be beaten! What a great spot!
Disliked: The lodge was little walk, including a very steep hill, from the main town. Not ideal if you don’t have a car. Climbing up to the lodge was a little inconvenient but being up the hill afforded such spectacular views so it is arguably worth it!

Liked: Amazing view facing the lake and mountains. Complementary cupcakes and beverages. Host was very accommodating. Highly recommend
Disliked: Room was compact
