Disliked: My wife has Rheumatoid Arthritis and had just had a hip replacement. She had a lot of difficulty negotiating the stairs.Could not believe a hotel in 2025 not having a lift. However, we would happily stay here again knowing we could book a ground floor room.

Above and beyond..

Liked: The staff were so incredibly kind. It was my daughters 3rd birthday and they all welcomed her with bug smiles, took her hand and gave her the best seat in the breakfast bar. Then proceeded to come out with a beautiful cake with sparklers on top and the entire staff sung her happy birthday. We didn't ask for this. They just knew that unfortunately we were about to spend her entire birthday driving for another 7 hours so they went out of their way to give her a special morning. Besides that, value of the hotel was incredible, breakfast was included and everything was sparkling clean. No complaints.
Disliked: Well, if I had to complain about something, it would be that I got served my coffee in a tea pot, so I didn't realise I had coffee until it was cold I assumed they'd served me a cup of tea by mistake. But no harm done

Disliked: Was filthy so much noise we barely had 2 hours sleep!!! There was a party on one side in the room and a very drunk couple on the other side. Breakfast was ridiculous....cold and not much choice.I understand why they take a big damage deposit on arrival. Hope both in the rooms next door to us didn't get it back.

Comfortable room, disgusting breakfast, rude...

Liked: We arrived and had a small room that fit our needs. Modern room with nice mirror features and was warm. Free parking was a bonus.
Disliked: No elevator access. Iron / ironing board requested and needed to carry up two flights of stairs. Breakfast was very disappointing, asked both morning by members of staff if we wanted coffee/tea… and never received (forgotten about us). Simple breakfast that is hot would have made our experience better, however both morning it was bare, dry, and tasteless. Staff members bar one receptionist who checked us in, were rude.. dismissive and un-attentive which was very disappointing considering both of us work in customer service based occupations!
