Liked: Breakfast was beautiful and prepared to order. There was a lot of choice on offer. The staff were very accommodating and allowed us to check in early, we had complimentary tea and coffee whilst waiting. The dinner menu was lovely with a great selection even though the weather meant the hotel was experiencing a power cut!!!! Thankfully the hotel has a generator which was brilliant. I would highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing stay as the village is quiet and the staff will do everything to accommodate your needs. Would have been nice if the fires were lit would have added to the Christmas décor which was beautiful. I hope to be back!!!!!

Liked: The room upgrade and spa no extra charge because off the black outs (even know it wasn’t there fault), the staff was lovely and offered anything we needed and was lovely people to talk to always smiling and delivering a high standard of service

Liked: Nice room once moved to a updated room , some staff were really friendly
Disliked: Checked in and was quoted £287 through booking.com, once arrived staff wasn’t happy I booked via booking.com and didn’t book direct . Stated price was £315 and that it was booking.coms fault . Wasn’t happy with this as quoted one price and paying another when arriving . Stayed for 2 nights was given a different room to what I booked really outdated . Asked staff member to change room wasn’t very happy but got moved to a better room which was beautiful Netflix on tv which was brilliant compared to the other room. From this onwards staff were lovely , spa staff were lovely spa was good however not as advertised on pictures the hot tubs . When checking out staff member said I never paid for the stay and tried to get me to pay again in which I explained I paid when I checked in and was actually quoted wrong . If booking book direct to stop this from happening
