Liked: Spacious room, nice pub, great breakfast
Disliked: Need a car to get there. Not walkable to town

Lovely renovation and hotel -...

Liked: Really liked this place. Great renovation, nice breakfast and handy for food and a drink in nice surroundings. Our dog was welcomed and parking was easy. Very clean and the housekeeper was very attentive. Would definiately stay here again. Lovely village to wander around.
Disliked: Nothing. Slightly pricey but you get what you pay for!

Liked: The hotel was brilliant, even better than the photos. The staff were so kind and attentive. Breakfast was fab. Would definitely go back.

Good short stay hotel, but...

Liked: The staff were very friendly and the room was perfect for a short stay
Disliked: The curtains weren't on the rail properly so it was difficult to close/open them at times. The breakfast options on the first day of my visit had dried fruits and yoghurt, which was ideal as I don't do fried breakfasts or cereal, but this option was missing on the other mornings, sadly.

Liked: Staff pleasant and accommodating. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was lovely.
Disliked: Location, and felt £185 for the King Suite with sea view was overpriced as furnishings were basic. Central heating remote was not working and only half off a toilet roll in the bathroom which was replenished when brought to attention of staff. Floor could have been swept better, some debris on floor.

Liked: Comfortable beds and bedding.
Disliked: The bathroom wasn’t clean. Urine, hair and poo on the toilet. The shower needs cleaned properly and the floors in the bathroom and room were dusty. The rooms are nice and the bathrooms - but cleaning needs more attention. The water in the room should be branded bottled water, not tap water as who knows how long it has sat there. The glasses in the room were also dirt and fingerprints on - would not use.
