Good location and bones just...

Liked: My husband and I just did a quick staycation and brought our bikes to ride to Huntington Beach and back so that worked out well. The hotel has great bones its just very tired. Staff was friendly, everything was clean but the room and furnishings were very used and tired. The room honestly felt like very budget tired hotel, but at least it was clean. I did very much appreciate that they had real table cloths on the tables and in the coffee area and again, staff was very nice. We didn't eat at the restaurant as we were out all day and just not hungry when we came back but did grab a drink at the bar.
Disliked: The setup and layout is stellar it just really needs a lot of updating. Glad we tried it but just know what you're booking so you have proper expectations.
