Pleasant stay. Value for money.

Liked: Excellent breakfast, good room, and nice people and. Very good value for money. It is a good place to stay. I would qualify Balance Hotel a little old fashion.
Disliked: Little far away from town center.

Very cosy and welcoming stay,...

Liked: Location was perfect for our trip as we were visiting locally as well as the city centre.The addition of the travel ticket is great, the tram stop is only a few minutes away and therefore easy to travel in/out of the city centre.The room was comfortable, clean and in a quiet road.The staff were all very friendly and helpful which makes for a relaxing atmosphere.We will happily stay here again and would like to try the restaurant next time as it looked very good.
Disliked: Just cosmetic.The decor is a bit dated but I wonder if this also adds to the appeal.Should not let this detract from booking a very lovely stay.

Lovely stop for a short...

Liked: Free transport ticket, close to some cafes, clean room, friendly staff. Nice and warm. Very reasonably priced. Would stay again.
Disliked: We booked a double room but we're given a twin, we didn't query this though as we arrived late and it wasn't an big issue.

Comfortable room, friendly staff, travel...

Liked: Comfortable room and friendly staff in what, for us, was a very convenient location - we have family living nearby. The hotel gives guests travel passes for transport in the city - that is a great bonus. We like Stötteritz as an area (there are a few shops and a couple of supermarkets) and the impressive monument to the Battle of the Nations is not far.
Disliked: We chose street parking over the hotel car park which we considered expensive. We cannot comment on the restaurant as we did not use it. The city centre is 20-30 minutes away by tram but this is not an additional expense because of the travel passes provided.
