Bailbrook House is a Grade II listed property set within 20 acres of private grounds with commanding views towards central Bath and the countryside. The GBP 10 million refurbishment project has created 75 stylish classic and executive bedrooms located in Bailbrook Court which is adjacent to the Mansion House. Bailbrook Court is also home to the Lansdown Restaurant which serves a traditional breakfast. The sympathetically restored Mansion House features prestigious feature bedrooms. The building is also home to Cloisters a fine dining restaurant which is located in the basement of the restored Mansion House. Cloisters takes advantage of the stunning architectural features of the historic building and the seating in the loggia provides views over the hotel's front lawn. Liked: The hotel building is very charming and well kept, and the grounds are immaculate. The room was very clean, and the staff was super friendly. I had my dog with me, and they really looked after him as well.

On the whole very good

Liked: Location perfect Breakfast okStaff amazing in particular the lovely Dobrinka in the bar who looked after us so well.
Disliked: Not leaving windows open in room on a 2 below day after cleaning. Some aspects of the breakfast could of been fresher.

Stayed one night but would...

Liked: Warm welcome from reception. Spacious room, 2 arm chairs next to a small table, warm in cold weather. Small fridge with real milk we enjoyed with our teas. High quality bedding. Wardrobe with loose hangers. so much easier to use than those ones where they don't trust the guests and you can only remove part of the hanger then have to slot it back into the hook.Elegant building. Lifts to bedroom floors.
Disliked: Weird design of bathroom. Towel radiator is above the toilet and there are no hooks or bars where you can put towels nearer the sink. Access to the towels is awkward and you feel you might drop them in the toilet in the process.
