Excellent hotel lovely staff average...

Liked: Lovely well maintained hotel with lovely highly attentive staff, received a complimentary upgrade to a suite which was beautiful
Disliked: Food wasn’t up to the hotel’s standard simple and edible but a little basic and lacked flair. Seasoning wasn’t great but cooking was fair Bacon on breakfast very tough

Liked: Very polite and exceptionally well-presented staff.
Disliked: I have no reason to criticise anything. For the price, it was fantastic.

Liked: As a hotel the staff anf facilities are excellent - superb break fast..
Disliked: rooms are tired.. jaded, dated. Had ot change room becuase heating was not working in either the room or the bath room. Furniture is "classic", i.e. dated.. a lack of electrical sockets and the "modern" things you would expect like a built in USB charger in sockets..

Liked: Very dog friendly! Welcoming staff, nice rooms and wonderful grounds
Disliked: Dining room was very cold first thing in the morning but soon warmed up

Liked: The setting and main building are beautiful. The staff were really warm and welcoming throughout the trip. Wheelchair access isn’t always easy in period property but it was great here and the staff all went above and beyond to accommodate my mum’s access needs and make her feel comfortable.
Disliked: Unfortunately after almost an hour of waiting for dinner to arrive, my dish was inedible. The staff were very apologetic and I was assured this was a teething problem of a new menu. Thankfully my meal was taken off the bill.
