Good staff, good food, but...

Liked: The staff were really great.
Disliked: The room we had was pretty rough, but you can tell they have been making improvements.

Superb

Liked: Staff were friendly and helpful. Food at the diner was a great classic and reasonably priced.

Good

Liked: Quiet. Smart TV included in unit. Location (outside of main part of town).
Disliked: Unit right outside kitchen staff entrance. Pots of old cooking grease sitting outside. Cigarette butts littered everywhere on the ground. People smoking cigarettes outside unit. Unit smelled old and musty, like a retirement home. Water quality was questionable (smelled like fish tank water and tastes like a wet football field puddle).

Disappointing

Liked: Good location, adjacent restaurant excellent food and service. The staff were very friendly.
Disliked: Disappointing room, tv not functioning, stained rug, flooring warped, blinds broken, no thermostat controls, space heater available in room to use, owner probably overpaid for motel in need of major upgrade.

Nice enough

Liked: Best breakfast in town! Staff was very friendly.
Disliked: Had a knock on the door at around 11pm. Didn't feel safe enough to answer, there was no peep hole or chain lock and thought if it was hotel staff, they could call. No one did so may have been another guest.

Liked: Close to tourist spots
Disliked: They charged us $100 for the securitt deposit because there were pet hairs. We paid for the pet fee which is a ridiculous amount and they didnt even provide dog bed or anything, of course there would be pet hairs in your prt friendly room and now we're being charged for that. Completely ridiculous and I wouldnt recommend staying here. They'll do what they can to rip you off.

Avoid

Liked: Adjoining restaurant has good breakfast
Disliked: Dirty, desperately in need of a full renovation or just knock down. Noisy clunking sounds from fridge and heating all night. Hugely overpriced. Only stay here if you don't enjoy sleep. Dishonest staff at reception.
