Liked: Except for the location, every other factors were hopeless and disappointing.
Disliked: The receptionist gave us a room which was stinking and mouldy and when we said we would like to vacate the next day, as it was impossible to stay in there, he gave us a room near the reception which was better, but was equally bad, devoid of the mould.. The beds didn't have sheets, just the bed cover. The carpet was not cleaned for ages. Booking.com should not advertise this kind of property, and the price for the dirty amenities is too high.

Liked: The beds are very comfortable but as there is access only by stairs and no lift it wouldn’t suit us to stay again.
Disliked: Although the staff are friendly Reception is only open between 9,30 and 3pm. There is a full laundry available but it can only be used between these hours. Cleaning appeared to be minimal at best and the carpet in the hallways, although not threadbare, looks past its replacement time and could do with a good clean. It is a backpackers but I think the Owners let the place down through lack of investment in presenting a clean and tidy accommodation space. Curtains, walls, windows, window sills, carpet, stairwells, could all do with a good scrub!
