Great location, modern amenities! Staff...

Liked: A lovely hotel that is on a great location . They accommodated our request for early check in and placed us on the same floor ( booked 2 rooms). The rooms were modern , clean and spacious . The breakfast buffet had great selection- loved the fresh fruit and fresh fruit juices .
Disliked: The shower knobs were not user friendly , room temperature changes - too hot, too cold.Lack of close loop communication from front desk staff. Requested a taxi pick up for airport trip , was told it was booked . Waited in the main lobby with my family , time went by and went to asked the front desk and that’s when I was told there was no taxi coming. I know it’s a 3rd party reservation but they should have keep us in the loop and COMMUNICATED the changes so alternate plans could be made so as not to miss our flight. COMMUNICATION is really important.

Disliked: No taxi service …asked us to walk up 2-3 blocks to another hotel ? Thought that was ridiculous . Room was not cleaned one day and had to call for service after5pm upon return

Luxury spacious executive stay

Liked: Great central location across Plaza España. Super nice and helpful staff. As expected in the winter season the roof top pool was closed and also their bar, but still nice views to enjoy. Did stay in the executive level 7, breakfast was nice and decent, with gluten-free options. Modern design and did felt quite better than just a "3 star hotel". They did save my luggage for several hours in a seperate guarded room after I did check out.
Disliked: The keycard that is required to go to the room had technical problems, it was replaced twice in my one-day stay, as I could not reach my floor several times. The staff quickly replaced the card though.

Exceptional

Comparing between two stays in...

Liked: -location (we were searching for an hotel near Plaça d'Espanya)- we had a bad experience previously in the nearest hotel of higher category so we hoped B Hotel to be a better option and it was- in spite of there is a bit noisy outside, the rooms are silent and cozy- reception staff is nice and friendly: we arrived before official check-in time but there was not a problem to get our rooms earlier, high level of english language- breakfast was good (fruits, local specialties, hot meal such as eggs etc., cereals, bakeries, varieties of drinks)
Disliked: - water pressure in bathroom (it was hard to take shower). Seems that it will minimize water consumption but it is wrong because you have to spend much more time showering (especially when travel with family)- sliding doors in bathroom and toilet (not a reason not to stay in B Hotel but it's not comfortable :) )- poor light in bathroom
