Superb
Liked: This was our third time staying at Azur. The staff are attentive and welcoming. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The location is central for walking to the parks and shopping. The rooftop bar was a bonus discovery this time around.

Liked: Very nice rooms, feels newly furnished. Good materials and personal touches. Friendly staff, very clean. Breakfast downstairs a bit pricy, but plenty of alternatives in the surrounding area.

Review Strictly For Family Stays...
Liked: There was a lot to like about the hotel staff, cleanliness, and location but this review is meant strictly for family stays so I’m going to focus on things I wish I had known. 1. It lists the hotel as having a pool. It does not. It has access to the YWCA pool down the street…but only for adults 19 and over. Had I known this, we wouldn’t have upgraded our accommodations to stay here, thinking we were paying more for more amenities. We have kids the really needed to swim to get their energy out and it made for a less pleasant experience. So they really don’t have a pool nor does it say in their listing the access is limited to adults. 2. The rooms are very clean, comfortable, and well appointed. But there isn’t much room like most would have (ie no full desk and barely a seating area. I would say the rooms are a little tighter than average. I do like that there are only 8 rooms on each level. That’s a plus. 3. My wife didn’t think the beds were very comfy. They are stiffer if you like that and felt a bit worn out but had upgraded pillows. 3. We got connecting rooms but the interior door system they have meant that they automatically close (and get locked out) even if the door latch is unlocked unless you put a shoe in each door. No ability to prop the door open. This made the connected rooms less useful to say the least (And while the staff again were great and did the best that could be expected), we did get accidentally locked out of one room and half of us spent the night in another room until it could be remedied in the morning. 4. The self Parking garages are just as expensive as valet so if you have a car BUT don’t plan on using it, opt for valet parking, it will actually save you money. We drove all over this beautiful city during the day so we didn’t use the valet service and there are many parking garages well within walking distance.

Liked: This was an amazing hotel. The staff and service went above and beyond. The location is incredibly central to everything you'd want to do in downtown Vancouver, and very walkable. The room was very spacious, the king bed was incredibly comfy, and the heated floors in the bathroom were the icing on top.
