Liked: The sound insulation of the room doors and between the rooms was poor. I was woken up by the sound of other doors in the corridor, and I could even hear toilet flushing from neighboring rooms, which prevented me from having a comfortable night’s sleep.The staff at the spa were unable to provide clear and informative details about the massage services.I wanted order food to the room. Kitchen service (536) and the reception did not answer any of calls. The rooms were very clean and the room service staff were very kind.

Liked: It was very clean throughout the hotel. Rooms were spacious and comfy.The showers in the rooms are the best. It’s out of town but very close to Cribbs and Patchway train station to get to Templemeads

Fine for our purposes but...

Liked: Room was good and spacious
Disliked: Breakfast was very basic given the cost. It was just some standard cooked food and basic cereals and a few pastries. For the price I would have expected far more choice.Given this is a "family friendly" hotel it was very disappointing to not be able to use the swimming pool with my daughter at a choice that suited us. Instead they have a few hours in the morning and a few hours (right over dinner time!) in the evening.

Liked: In the bathroom, there was mould on the walls. We stayed on the ground floor, and I can say that you could hear absolutely everything—slamming doors, even people in the neighboring rooms when they flushed the toilet or took a shower. Very disappointed...I do not recommend it.

Expensive and slightly underwhelming

Liked: Not greeted on arrival..no customer service at checkout..room was missing some items which a nice lady replaced..breakfast lacked proper gluten free options so rather disappointing. The spa was great but not available past 7pm for kids. Had to book a slot for breakfast which we didn't want and then to find the restaurant was almost empty. For the cost I wouldn't stay here again.
