Disappointed, expensive hotel with no...

Liked: Location, breakfast good, meals good but over salted.
Disliked: Lack of heating, no heating in lounge area (comfy chairs but log burner not used) , radiator in room didn’t work! Supplemented by one oil filed portable first night ( that I had to get out of wardrobe), 2 the second night! It’s a known problem, same two years ago, why did we return…. It’s had a refurb…. Thought it would have been sorted! NO.Will not return or recommend.

Disappointing

Liked: The location is great for exploring the local area & plenty of parking. The room was comfortable & spotlessly clean, albeit a bit on the small side.
Disliked: There seemed to be too few staff. When we arrived there was just one girl behind the bar, which also acts as reception so she was doing everything. It was some time before anyone was free to check us in. We had dinner in the restaurant & again there was no one around to greet us & show us to our table. There was only one table set for 4 so we assumed it was ours & sat there. It took some time for anyone to take a drinks order & provide menus. We had breakfast the next morning & we all chose the full English. The menu said it included mushrooms & hash browns but none of us got them & no explanation was given as to why they were missing. All in all it was disappointing.

Liked: The staff were very welcoming and very helpful, the location was incredible as it wad close to aysgarth waterfall only and short walk away, everything was amazing and will definitely go again

Liked: Amazing quiet location with perfect views staff and management very welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble.Good amazing stayed for breakfast and dinner .
