Very nice and comfortable hotel. We would stay there again.

Liked: The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was pretty, comfortable and easy to find.
Disliked: Only negative was they were not accommodating with their shuttle on the Sunday night that we were going to a concert at the Orange County Fair. That shuttle service was the deciding factor as to why we chose that hotel on that particular weekend.

Liked: The hotel is beautiful. This why I usually will book a room here when we are in Orange County. I like the atmosphere, room and the restaurant is always very good.
Disliked: I had a lengthy conversation with the clerk checking me in about how we like the hotel, reason for the stay, room requirements, and health condition of my husband, which was the reason for reserving a sofa in the room. We have stayed here for many many years and their customer service fell very short of expectations. Received the wrong room, no sofa, refrigerator from our left over dinner, they forgot to put my husband's name on the room so he sat in the cramped car for 2 hours before I PAID for a taxi to bring me back because they would not let him in the room to get his phone. The hotel left a voicemail at 4:05 pm requesting that I consent that he can be in the room. The State testing does not allow phone during testing. My husband informed staff of this fact. I called once I was done at 5:23 pm and asked staff was my husband let into the room. They said, "No, I had not called back." I informed the gentleman I wrote his name of a form I was requested to list anyone else with me. After a wait, they found his name and I sternly told him they need to find him becuase he need to have his medication and I hop he had our dogs with him and I will address this when I get back since I cannot call him. Fortunately, he had his medication, water, and our dogs with him. I paid $over $25.00 to bring me back by taxi, 2 hours after my proctored testing was done. My care was parked in a disabled stall near the lobby. I rushed to the room to make sure the dogs were not left there, then found my husband in the car, exhausted, cold, and in distress worried about how I would get back to the hotel. I spent several hours tending to his needs and making sure he was stable and comfortable. I then confronted the clerks and failed to receive reasonable answer, other than it was a mistake. No one apologized and no one seemed to care about my husband's health due to the COLD temperature. A letter will be written with more detail. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!

A perfect spot for refuge...

Liked: We relocated here after the LA fires, and the staff were welcoming, the room was comfortable, the bar and restaurant were perfect for an exhausted couple needing a good drink and something to eat, and the gym was surprisingly good. Also, they have a 12:00 checkout, which was much needed.
Disliked: Only that we had to leave.

Not recommend.

Disliked: The cleanliness of the sheets was a major issue for us. Additionally, the food at Le Chateau Garden Bistro was of very poor quality and simply not enjoyable. It’s difficult to make an unappetizing hamburger in the US, but somehow, they managed to do just that.
