I had a great time at the Powell. I love the location - it was like 5 minutes from my venue. The staff was great when I had questions. Bed was comfortable.

Liked: The Axiom hotel is my choice of hotel during all of my stays in San Francisco. This time due to low vacancy due to JPMorgan event I booked a Nano Queen and would not do so again - far too small even for 1 person but the bathroom was as good as ever !
Disliked: Room size - otherwise the hotel is great

Disliked: The back entrance was close to some garbage which was not a fault of the hotel of course but the only thing I can think which I didn’t like

Liked: I was positively surprised by the politeness and active help from all the staff at reception and the speed at fixing problems from the maintenance. The location is perfect! Buses and Muni are outside the hotel doors.

Questionable location, but a great...

Liked: Staff, amenities, the room and the gym were great.
Disliked: The location is really sketchy. A lot of homeless people are right in front of the hotel. There are two safe directions to take from there though, so do talk to the staff before getting out.

It was a most enjoyable...

Liked: Great location, good rooms, nice staff. Loved the delivery robot. It was good to have filtered water stations on each floor. Large towels were good.
Disliked: It would have been good to have a kettle already in the room for tea drinkers. A few more milk capsules for the coffee / tea would also have been be good. When we asked for more milk capsules there weren’t any available. Not much choice on the TV.
