Liked: I had a wonderful two-night stay at the Axel Hotel in Berlin, and I want to give special thanks to Valentina at the front desk, who made my experience truly exceptional. She was incredibly kind, polite, and helpful throughout my visit, always ready to assist with anything I needed.As a lovely surprise, Valentina offered me a complimentary upgrade to a suite, which made my stay even more enjoyable. I truly appreciated the gesture and her thoughtfulness. She also kindly checked if it was possible for me to check out an hour later than the standard time, which was very helpful.Her warm and professional attitude really stood out and contributed to a fantastic overall experience. Thank you again, Valentina, for the great hospitality!
Disliked: I stayed in a suite at the Axel Hotel in Berlin, and while the room was spacious and generally comfortable, there were a few issues that impacted my overall experience.The "double bed" was actually made up of two single beds placed next to each other, which wasn’t ideal. There was also a window in the room that couldn’t be covered, which made it difficult to block out the light. Additionally, there was no shower gel in the dispenser, and even after I requested a refill, it was never taken care of.The bathtub was not as clean as I would have expected, and some of the window handles were broken, making it impossible to open certain windows.While the size of the suite was great, I believe a bit more attention to these details would have made the stay much more enjoyable.

Liked: The reception staff were super helpful and friendly - Ishan and checked us in, along with his colleague (who's name I didn't get) and upgraded us to a suite, which was lovely! Valentina also made sure to look after us during our brief stay. The room had a spacious bathroom with a jacuzzi bath, separate power shower, complimentary robes and plenty of space.
Disliked: As per EVERY hotel I stay in, the lighting for make-up is terrible!

Liked: A great hotel and perfect location for what we needed. Such a safe and welcoming space for LGBT+ travellers, felt extremely safe and welcome the whole time. The spa is a great bonus and a good hotel gym.

Great hotel for a short...

Liked: Really enjoyed our stay at the Axel for our anniversary! Room was simple but with the nice finish and exactly what we needed for our stay. Staff were lovely and even gave us a few recommendations for what to do on a Friday night! Location was great as there were some good bars around the corner and a 2 minute walk from the nearest U-Bahn stop which was very convenient as we did a lot of travelling to and from the city centre. Would definitely recommend!

Great fun great holiday

Liked: Really friendly staff- ishan (I think) and Milan and the lady with brown hair and glasses were all very helpful. I even bought them a pizza!
