Liked: I enjoyed an excellent two nights at Avondale Guest House in February 2025. Amy and Chris were friendly and welcoming hosts, and provided helpful information on my stay, including local restaurants and activities.My room was comfortable, modern and tastefully decorated, and I also appreciated the fresh milk provided for tea and coffee in my room. There were a range of hot breakfast options available to choose from, as well as cereals, yoghurt, fresh juice etc. I had the full English breakfast throughout my stay which was delicious, and included Chris' homemade bread.The guesthouse was also very well located, on a quiet street and within a short walking distance of the town centre with its shops, cafes, bakeries, and restaurants.Overall, I had a great stay and would recommend Avondale Guest House!
