Disturbing!!

Liked: The location good and the hotel in general was good. My only complaint was that the extractor fan in the bathroom was very noisy and ran for an hour befor ir would switch its self off. This was very disturbing at midnight when I needed to sleep. I couldn't settle and got very little sleep!! I consequently was irritable and tired all the next day.I tried to contact someone on the emergency number but the number in the In⁰fo document was dead!! That is not good practice.All in all for that reason I would not stay at this hotel again, ever!! I definitely would not be recommending it to anyone despite the outstanding staff.I was in room 14.

Liked: Very friendly, helpful staff. Easy access to getting a taxiAn interesting converted old railway station in a lovely quiet setting, but very close to the main roadVery nice, modern rooms with good facilities. Overall a very good experience and I would definitely stay there again and recommend to others

Liked: Very clean, great staff and Manager was so helpful.We checked out , met my family and returned for Sunday Roast which again was excellent and good value.We will be going back and have already thought of an excuse !!!!

Exceeded expectations. Will definitely be...

Liked: Lovely location, aesthetics inside and out, immaculate room, well equipped, clean. The pub itself is homely, attractive and welcoming and the food, both breakfast and dinner surpassed all expectations. Add to that friendly, helpful staff, and this is a clear winner!
Disliked: The only gripe, which is a relatively minor one, was a very uncomfortable mattress, which entertained me by allowing me to feel every single spring in great detail, but this is a relatively easy fix. The rest of the pub/ hotel is simply excellent.

Value for money and more.

Liked: This was a hotel that was focussed on service. It had a certain charm of the old days and was themed on rail travel. The bones of Herne (Hurn) station were still visible and added a certain something to the ambience. Ample parking and a short distance from Bournemouth and Christchurch.
Disliked: This always difficult - I think everything was better than I expected so how would one attempt to find fault ...so I won't.
