Exceptional
Liked: From the moment we stepped into the house, it felt like we're visiting a friend. We received a very warm welcome by the owner, Jack. Not only was the whole check-in process smooth, but he also gave us a detailed tour of his beautifully decorated house. It was a nice surprise to find out that a complimentary breakfast (including pastries, toast bread, Irish butter, jam and orange juice) would be available each morning, while not being conditioned by a strict timing. Coffee was also available and it was delicious. Everything was clean, the bed was comfortable and we managed to get some good rest after a tiring day of visiting from morning till late in the evening. It was a pleasure to stay at Avoca House! Can't recommend it enough!

Stunning house, absolutely lovely hosts,...
Liked: Jack and his wife were extremely hospitable. The home is stunning, even more beautiful in person. Jaxk gave us a home tour, which I loved. The area was very accessible to the bus and shoos and we were easily able to walk around. We had such a wonderful time and felt very safe.
Disliked: Nothing that could be helped really. The walls were slightly thin but there are quiet hours so it wasn't really a problem.

Very good option for accommodation...
Liked: Clean room, comfortable bed, quit and safe area, good breakfast and very good coffee; close to the airport, but also to the city centre, about 20 min by bus. And Jack is a very nice a helpful host!

Homely bed and breakfast and...
Liked: What a lovely little bed and breakfast! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Jack was amazing, super attentive and made sure we were well fed and comfortable! Amazing breakfast included, fresh pastries, orange juice and coffee 24-7. Highly recommend staying here if you are visiting Dublin, so homely.
Disliked: The bathroom was a wet room style, which could be slightly annoying when sharing.

We will definitely stay here...
Liked: Absolutely wonderful place to stay while recovering from jet lag. Visited nearby National Gardens, which is a delight. A full breakfast is not officially provided, but toast, pastries, cereals, juice, and the best coffee ever is offered for free. Jack is there to help answer any questions, and we enjoyed chatting with him.

Very good
Liked: Host was great, at one point I lost one of my gloves and he helped me look for it for a bit. Really appreciated that, and the quality of the breakfast was good.
Disliked: Room was a bit small
