Was what we needed, but...

Liked: Easy access to the room. 1st floor and permitted pet stay was key on this family trip.
Disliked: The breakfast bar was poorly stocked. Arrived at 9 AM in a 7-10 AM service window. No warm food available. Only 1 cereal to choose from. The other cereals fresh out. Apple juice was watered down. Orange juice did not dispense, low water alarm. When they did stock a warm option it was only veggie omelette no “breakfast sandwiches of the day”. No fresh fruit to grab available when we arrived. Had to go elsewhere to get the kids breakfast since such limited options.

Disliked: Trash in hallway, room was not as described on website, breakfast items not replenished. I was there at 7:30 am and all breakfast sandwiches and all fresh fruit was already gone

I had a great stay!...

Liked: The staff was friendly! They accommodated my special requests. The room was clean and nice. The hotel was quiet. The price was very reasonable
Disliked: While I was using the bathroom the housekeeper opened my door at 9am without even knocking! It wasn’t even close to check out time. It was rude and 3 hours before check out time. I also had requested a late check out time of 12 because I had a test to take around the corner and wanted to have a quiet place to study until then. The front desk staff was very generous in granting me this request. Not sure why it wasn’t communicated with her. She should have at least knocked especially with it NOT even close to check out.

I’ll stay at another Avid.
