It is worth the stay.

Liked: This was my 4th stay in 2 months due to my brother having a heart attack and then hospice care before he died. This hotel made this emotional event.... less stressful. Xavier was very kind and sympathetic. As well as all the staff. And one young man at the front desk called up to our room right after we checked in for the 4th time to ask if everything was satisfactory. The coffee was excellent each morning. And even though I did not have much of an appetite, the breakfast selection my husband brought up made me eat. I was pleased with this hotel and will only stay here when I am in Kalamazoo. It is always clean and comfortable. And the view in room 507 is perfect. You will not be disappointed if you stay here. I don't right many reviews. But this one I stand by.

Disliked: The sidewalk was not shoveled or salted it was a mess lots of people in the hallway all thru the night loud lots of doors slamming

Liked: It was so clean & not nothing fancy but it looked great! I had to ask if there were any more being opened cause this was first I’ve seen one.
Disliked: I’m not going to say I didn’t like the breakfast, it was simple but I think it goes with the purpose & style of hotel.

Disliked: The $50.00 holds they kept taking because I kept having to extend my stay due to my brother being in the hospital on life support. Not only was I not aware of this extra security charge on the first night reservation, but the other three nights, they added it also. I was told it may take 7 to 10 days to get it back. The staff and place are very nice and I would highly recommend this hotel. This is the only complaint I have.
