Disliked: A fully stocked automated minibar fridge, which we had to get emptied so that we could place our own things in it, or else be charged!

AVOID THIS PROPERTY. Terrible and...

Disliked: This hotel overcharged me $201.31 for my booking, overdrawing my account. When I brought up the overcharge, they said it was a mistake and would be refunded immediately. The refund took 3 days, and when they processed it, it was for $194.40. Apparently the Avenue thinks that they deserve $6.91 as a gift for overcharging me. I'll be getting my money back from my bank, and filing a complaint with Fair Trading.

Disliked: The restaurant (Marble and....) made no provision for hotel guests i.e. we couldn't be seated due to it being overbooked. Not good enough.

Beautiful and well appointed.

Liked: Self contained unit, beautiful and had everything you require. Like the approach where if you opted for no daily room servicing you get a $10 bar / restaurant voucher. Staff lovely. Unit clean and modern. T2 tea bags, coffee machine, washing machine. Will be back!
Disliked: Nothing!
