Disliked: We had to force a little to open and fully close the bedroom door. But not a big deal.

The hotel smells skunked

Disliked: The front door has 1 inch gap from the floor. The marijuana pot smoke all over the place where we smelled and got into the crack of our room,guest were smoking everywhere.

Disappointing

Liked: We love staying here and have a few times
Disliked: The room was absolutely filthy this time around. Floors were gross and shower was dirty had to wear shoes in shower

Great stay, close to restaurants

Liked: Rooms were spacious, pool was excellent, location was excellent to food and shops
Disliked: Would have liked a kettle in the room, we could hear people in the room above us walking around. Not many choices of times for shuttle buses returning from the theme parks

It was a good stay...

Liked: The size of the room, location, and pool area.
Disliked: The glass for the bathroom shower was too short. Water came from the shower onto the floor nightly. Rust on the door in the bathroom. This unit lacked proper renovations. Holes in the wall near the bed. The iron did not work, had to borrow a family member’s iron.

Very good

Liked: It was conveniently located between Universal and Disney parks. It was a good value for the time of year I was there as well. Liked the shower, the bed was mostly comfortable, and the room was spacious.
Disliked: The humidity left a bit of a mold smell to the room. I was also situated in the building farthest from the entrance, on the backside third floor. I didn't have a car which made it a hike to get to the front of the hotel to be picked up by a ride share.

The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable, with all the amenities we needed.The pool area was a highlight - it's huge and beautifully landscaped, with plenty of loungers and a fun bar serving great cocktails.The hotel's location is also perfect - it's within walking distance to International Drive, with all its restaurants, shops, and attractions.The staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was ok.Overall, I highly recommend the Avanti International Resort to anyone looking for a great value hotel in Orlando. We can't wait to come back!"
