Liked: the pool and bar area was nice and room looked nice at first glance. The people in the office were nice and very helpful and we didn't have to wait in a long line to get checked in or out.
Disliked: The room that we stayed in directly faced the interstate. The door was not sealed which caused all of the noise from the highway to keep us up all night long. when you close the door you can tell that the wall around it was rotted because the wall would move every time you close to the door. The AC worked and was very cold but for some reason there was a lot of humidity in the air and even though we kept the room at 67° we were still sweating.

Avanti International Resort was disappointing...

Liked: The location was convenient and the price.
Disliked: The room reeked of mold, making it uncomfortable to stay in, and the bathroom door was rotting at the bottom, a clear sign of poor maintenance. To make matters worse, the noise from the DJ at the pool blared all weekend, making it impossible to relax. To make matters worse, they still charge a resort fee despite such poor conditions, which is completely unacceptable. You truly get what you pay for here—and that isn't much.

Liked: The pool is great and clean. Rooms are considerably cozy but the style of the shower is not my type. The control is far to reach while you are in the middle of yourshower. Location is perfect to me
