not recommended

Liked: New flatscreen TV, wifi worked well. The girl at the reception was very friendly and helpful.
Disliked: Motel directly at the main road, a bit noisy. Overall the motel is old, with some surface renovation to make it look nicer. it was not very clean, the pots and the cooker were so dirty we did not use any of them. New kettle and toaster were ok (but also not very clean). The toilet seat was broken and lying on the floor, the shower was one of the fix head (low) and water pressure could not be regulated (only on/off, cold or hot). The bed was too small for 2 tall persons and not very comfortable.

Would I stay again, yes

Disliked: Bed was quite small

Responsive staff

Liked: There was an issue with the microwave just as we were getting a meal ready and the staff assessed it immediately and replaced it when they couldn't get it working. That's what I appreciate. Not problem free but problems fixed promptly.
Disliked: Nothing.

Pleasant stay

Liked: Stay was lovely. Staff were really friendly and accommodating. Everything was as expected with the property / apartments - as shown on the photos and described in the listing.
Disliked: Nothing to report.

Disappointing end to our NZ...

Liked: Room was a decent size, although no drawers so clothes had to stay in the suitcase for our three night stay. Allocated parking space.
Disliked: We were staying for 3 nights and our room didn’t get serviced even though there was a sign on the door. Every day I had to go to reception to ask for tea bags and coffee as they were never replenished. If we wanted more milk there was a noticed to say there would be a charge! One carton was supposed to last three days. Fortunately we had bought milk with us.During our 4 week tour of NZ this was the only place I was disappointed with. Other places were cheaper, far better and you could use the washing machines and driers free instead of having to pay $4 for a wash and $4 to use the drier.
