Check on events when booking.

Liked: It was a good location. It’s a short drive to Kilkenny too. The food was excellent and the wait staff very friendly. Our room was clean and comfortable.
Disliked: There were holiday parties both nights we were there. The music lasted until 12:30 both nights. Maybe a separate event facility could be built for those occasions.

Very good

Liked: Staff we're friendly and the hotel was lovely.
Disliked: Had to continuously ask different staff for butter, salt, ketchup, plates, milk coffee etc. at breakfast. Everything went cold while we waited continuously for the item to be delivered. We had to ask a number of staff personnel for each item making eating our meal very frustrating.

I would stay again but...

Liked: Nice clean room although too warm
Disliked: Had to open the window even although the room heating wasn’t switched on, then noisy fans (possibly extractor fans) outside kept me awake. That spoiled the good of everything else.
