Cheap and competent. Recommended for...

Liked: Very convenient for the station. Clean, no-frills room, downstairs bar very pleasant. Cheap bag drop for customers, saves you having to carry suitcases around all day!
Disliked: The "pod" bathrooms are very space efficient but everything flexes as you move around... disconcerting when the toilet moves as you sit on it! Also quite a bit of noise late at night from the plumbing (rushing water) but less intrusive than noises from other rooms.

Helpful staff but a bit...

Liked: It’s very close to the front and an easy walk to get to cafe’s, shops and the pier!
Disliked: Unfortunately the bathroom was quite dirty with mould, it is that time of year but even so it didn’t feel that clean. The WiFi didn’t work on the tv so couldn’t access Netflix and we had tonretine the tv ourselves to access some channels whilst we wound down for the night.We also had to call up due to a noise complaint ( not the hotels fault and they dealt with it straight away, the lady on the phone was super helpful!) however they did proceed to then knock on our door straight away after speaking with the people who made the noise making it very obvious we were the ones who made the call, not only this but it was at 11.50pm which given the situation, we didn’t exactly feel comfortable with this.
