Lovely welcoming hotel

Liked: Evening meal in restaurant was lovely. Food and drink was excellent. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Bed was very comfortable and room was lovely and warm for the time of year.

Would return if I was...

Liked: Everything was at or near expectations, and the price was more than reasonable.
Disliked: The available parking was free on the street and the following day my car was covered in brid poop. It was so bad, I had to wash it on the way home.

Liked: This was the most clean hotel I have ever stayed in. The staff are very frendly.
Disliked: The staff working in the breakfast need to pay more attention as we had to try to find someone to help us.

Liked: This is always my stopover for the Newcastle ferry. Clean, a bit quirky, lovely staff - the perfect stay to turn travel into a mini holiday.
