Liked: The room was very clean and tidy
Disliked: The building was run down & there was a bad smell when you walked into the building. The duvets & pillows also had stains on them

Great location in the rainforest...

Liked: Beautiful old hotel in the rainforest. Nice meal in the evening!
Disliked: It needs to be renovated…. We stayed here back in December 2019…. Carpets and decorations were exactly the same as last time we were here. I like the old style but the carpets need to be changed and some renovations would go a long way!

Very good

Liked: The bush setting is beautiful and the room and bed were comfortable. Lovely outlook as far as Rangitoto (when the rain stopped).
Disliked: The only downside was the glass around the 'Juliet' balcony which was covered in bird droppings so there was not a clear view through the glass because there was a lot of it.

Amazing room,

Liked: Premium rooms the view was amazing!
Disliked: Restaurant lacked comfort. I think because of the location we were expecting a little bit more food wise. Unfortunately wouldn’t book in a table to eat but will definitely stay again.

Liked: Great facility. Spacious room and beautiful views to auckland. Staff were very pleasant. Pool was freezing though

Elegance with a city view

Liked: Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Driving down the driveway was asif I relaxed more and more. Exactly how I needed to spend nye!
