Liked: Carolyn went above and beyond to make sure that our trip was special! Spotlessly clean lodge and superb breakfast - thank you so much for accommodating us with lovely fruit and yogurt! Also she helped with booking a great local Indian restaurant for supper.

Liked: The location really suited us as there was nothing else available in the area. My colleague stayed there and was very happy with the owners and comfort. Nice rural setting as well.

Relaxing, comfortable

Liked: It was so quiet and had a beautiful outlook. Very thoughtful with the amenities such as plenty of kitchen stuff, nice bathroom products etc. It was very hot and the host put the air con on for us so the room was lovely and cool before we arrived.

A lovely cottage far away...

Liked: A lovely small country cottage in a beautiful garden. The view is breathtaking and in the distance Auckland is just visible. The cottage is perfect to wind down after a long flight. Everything needed for a breakfast was available. Self made ham and cheese sandwiches from Carolyn gave us the boost for the rest of the day. The cottage is clean and well locked after. It also has a covered veranda which allowed us to watch the thunderstorm pass by. We wish we could have stayed longer.
Disliked: A little mustard for the ham and cheese sandwich? :-)
