Beautiful 150 year hotel with...

Liked: Spacious twin room for my sister and I. Though breakfast is not provided there was a comfortable coffee room with fresh fruit. The hostess was friendly and lovely. Good location for our goals to visit the museum (walking distance) and nearby location of where some of our ancestors came to Canada after the American Revolution.
Disliked: The dining room is not open Mondays and Tuesdays. I do take some responsibility for not checking in advance. The other options for dinner was not within walking distance but a drive to the outskirts.

Would recommend & stay again...

Liked: Location is great. Nice old hotel, beautifully renovated.
Disliked: On a busy street, but did not effect our stay. Quiet at night. There are stairs, but no problem.

Perfect stay in Knowlton

Liked: It is centrally located in Knowlton making it convenient to visit shops, restaurants & key sites in Lac Brome. The staff went out of their way to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The room was spotless & comfortable. The restaurant is located on the street level & accessible from inside the hotel.

Very good

Liked: We stay here a couple of times each year to/from our house in the Gaspe. Nice, small auberge in a very nice small town in the Eastern Townships. Has a pub, couple of restaurants and coffee shops.
Disliked: Nothing comes to mind

A stay in the Auberge...

Liked: The location was perfect for walking the town. For Louise Penny fans, it brought Three Pines to life. The staff at the auberge was friendly and helpful.
