Lovely hostel in ledru rollin...

Liked: Affordable. Good location. Individual rooms available. Private rooms. Staff friendly. Breakfast available. Very close to trams/,shops/cafes/bars
Disliked: Having to leave the hostel at 11am each day and not being able to return until 2pm. Its not possible to stay in hostel from 11am-2/3pm.

Disliked: They do kick you out at 11 am to clean your room, even if you’re staying for multiple days and don’t necessarily want your room cleaned. Overall, it was a lovely hostel!

I think it was worth...

Liked: The location is great. The breakfast included and the private bathrooms are definitely a plus when traveling.
Disliked: There were little ants in our bathroom, the shower floods so you have to be careful, and the bathroom door does not go fully to the ground, there is like a 6 inch space between the door and the ground. The door was not really a problem for me and my group but it is less privacy.

Liked: The receptionists were quite alright and nice especially the woman, although i think, they are understaffed, if someone cannot open the door, the receptionist has to go and line can be quite long, it is quite close to Gare de Lyon, in Paris, it's quite expensive to stay near the eifel tower and this is the best option for people who do not want to splurge, the area is also quite nice with Asian restaurants and some cafes, nice to be at when you want a quiet time
Disliked: I understand that everyone needs to go at 11am, although it's the first hostel I stayed at that has that rule, the shared showers were very few that I ended up not taking one at all on my 2nd day, also because, the showers should be improved,it's not very clean and well designed, definitely bring shower slippers, I wish we didn't have to pay for towels for 3 euros,for the price that we already paid,also take note that there is tourist tax in Paris that you have to pay separately. Although nothing was lost inside my room, I forgot my tumbler in the luggage area that has sentimental value to me and called the next day, and they told me they could not find it anymore, the breakfast is not the egg and bacon type of breakfast,but only coffee, orange juice and bread. Not really worth waking up and lining up to in my opinion. You also cannot connect to the wifi with a laptop. I could also hear noises from other rooms cause not everyone is considerate of others. The hostel has so much potential but really could be improved. But if you are quite hectic in Paris and not really looking to relax then it's quite decent.
