Disliked: Customer service at the reception. We tried calling the hotel for multiple days and sent several emails and messages without a reply and when we got a hold of the connecting hotel Indigo, they just said to try calling our hotel Atwell at a later time - which we did so many times without help. When we finally arrived at the hotel, the Atwell and Indigo hotel had the same reception desk. Unbelievable customer service when they literally serviced at the same desk but could not help us. Also the hotel breakfast didn’t have many options.

Liked: Spaciousness.
Disliked: It took about 15 min for the water on the 16th floor to get wam enough to shower. The suite is very spacious with little to no bathroom countertop space. Very inconvenient.

I enjoyed what I could.

Liked: The outdoor restaurant, the ambience was so awesome and quaint. The food and drinks were super yummy. Level 24 is really cool and neat place to hang out. That is where the all day lounge, outdoor balconies, beverage bar, and where breakfast is . The coffee was great. The rooms were cozy but small. sitting on the balcony at night was really ambient. The staff was very nice and attentive. It’s a small but ambient hotel.
Disliked: I wouldn’t recommend staying there if you don’t speak Spanish, I speak a little bit so that helped me a lot, but most of staff does not speak any English or a few speak some English. This construction just kills the whole experience, it goes from early morning all day so you can’t enjoy sitting on the balcony even when you’re in your room it’s so loud and the construction is gonna go on for another two or three years, I wish they would’ve stated that on their site for consideration. The rooms are small, but they’re cozy. The refrigerator wasn’t working well, sweating. The front desk area was very cluttered and not very clean behind the counter and in the bar it was kind of dirty and there’s cords hanging out, for the price you pay it should be top-notch, clean, and no clutter in sight. I went to sit at the bar one of the days I was there and nobody came up to me or other customers to see if we wanted anything which is disappointing because the drinks are really good and the ambiance is nice.

Great location, easy access to...

Liked: The breakfast was typical of a hotel, choices were decent, coffee was good, manager Wilma and her staff were wonderful. The location is great close to the Brickell free metro mover station. The room was very nice, comfortable bed, the shower was hard to figure out and not very good. The kitchenette was nice. George at the front was very helpful when we checked out.
Disliked: But through no fault of the hotel the noise was horrible due to a construction site across the street, if you go ask for rooms on the other side. Cleaning non-existent but the hotel comped our parking fee which was great!

Disappointing

Disliked: My review of the Atwell Hotel in Miami's Brickell is that my room was very beautiful. The area where I stayed was lovely, although I feel like the room could have been cleaned a little better. I found hair in the shower and the sink, and after four days, the sink started to get clogged. I felt there was no need to call for assistance because when I did call for towels, it seemed like no one would answer. When they did respond, they would bring just one towel. One time, I had to go downstairs, and when I called , the phone wasn't picking up. I also feel that the breakfast selection was very limited, and we paid for breakfast, but we would have to go somewhere else because the options were very few. However, besides having a lack of porters and low customer service representatives, the experience was enjoyable.
