Won’t be staying there again

Liked: Right across the beach
Disliked: So there were ants all over the room as well as stains on the bed . We had food and drinks out for maybe 10-15 min as we showered and came back to ants all over our food . Also I went to the front in the morning to check out and complain to the manager . Waited about 10 min for a maintenance guy to tell me she’s not there . So I couldn’t make a complaint to her about the room

Disliked: There was no frills just a bed and bathroom....paid as much as nice hotel

Exceptional

Liked: Nancy was fantastic. The room did not have a hair dryer but Nancy gave me her personal dryer to use for the weekend.

Cockroaches & chemical stink.

Liked: The bed was comfortable enough. Didn't find any bugs in the bed.
Disliked: I booked the room because reviews said it was "pleasant." The room has the overwhelming stench of lemon chemical cleanser and yet managed to still be dirty. I saw a cockroach in the shower within the first 5 minutes, found another one crawling into my bag of food, and the third crawling into my open beer can. There was also a large roach that somebody before me had squashed on the wall which had not been cleaned up. The skirting tiles were broken and falling off the wall. Should've spent an extra $50 and stay somewhere better, or even just slept in my car where there are no roaches. I had to wash everything I brought into the room to get the chemical lemon smell out.

Bad

Liked: The outside was nice- across street from the beach.
Disliked: No microwave- the facility had no ice at all. Appeared that towel racks were ripped off the wall and there were two black spots in bathroom- possibly mold. We were severely overcharged.

A good value

Liked: Place was clean. Bed was comfortable.Great shower. Good location.
Disliked: Our TV remote was missing. The one they brought didn't work. I had to ask for more towels. There were only 2 in the room. Some of the other guests were sketchy.

Liked: The staff were all friendly and provided all needs as requested. I forgot items in the room & the manager returned them to me-very thankful for that!
Disliked: Fan/light in bathroom grinding (loud), light in kitchenette took awhile to come on, recliner not working, furnishings dated, shower & trashcans need deep cleaning
