Liked: We knew the hotel was 20 minutes by tram from the centre as we had stayed 3 times before. A pleasant quiet area. Was disappointed that the hotel had new owners and had been updated. It was dark, shiny and bland, not homely and full of character as it once was. Having said that I would stay there again. The duvets need to be bigger as they slipped off the bed during the night so not the best few night's sleep. Also we like a proper double bed, not too singles pushed together with a gap in the middle. Breakfast was brilliant. Everything you would expect, and more. And the staff were very friendly and helpful. As I said, a few niggles but overall we enjoyed our stay and wouldn't hesitate to return.
Disliked: As mentioned above the general darkness of the decor. The pushed together single beds and slippery duvets!

Liked: Excellent décor and building condition with a very attractive two storey atrium with lounges on each floor and an extensive library in one. Staff very friendly and helpful in explaining how to use the tram#4 to get to the central area. Excellent extensive breakfast buffet and food/ atmosphere in dining room in the evening. Extensive parking which is free
