Liked: We loved it all. We were making a late arrival and the hotel manager assured we were informed about arrival procedures. We were welcomed warmly and loved our stay.

Gorgeous and great location right...

Liked: Gorgeous and great locations set right on the river. We had drinks on the river bar here and dinner in the restaurant. Food and service was excellent. The room was really pleasant having recently been renovated. Lovely modern but in keeping interior and a huge lovely bathroom. Staff were really polite and helpful. Highly recommend the hermitage walk and the land rover experience.

Disliked: The shower in the room was not great... good pressure but kept going from OK to freezing to scalding every few seconds without me touching the settingThe room (11) was very nice but was opposite the door to the corridor and this door had an automatic closure that went slowly and then slammed. Fortunately the hotel was quiet but if busy with lots of people coming and going it could prove very disturbingThe TV was not working in terms of Netflix, Amazon etc...it said there was no signal or something similar. We were only there for one night so not an issue and I'm sure the staff would be able to sort it if staying longer but should really be working without requiring thatThe bar prices seemed very high.... we live in Edinburgh but a pint of draft lager for either £7 or £7.50 is more then we'd pay at home and the bistro prices are perhaps a wee bit steep too
