Liked: Great little motel in a quiet street near Tahunanui Beach and just 5 minutes from the airport. The two bedroom apartment was clean and comfortable, with a good little kitchen and nice bathroom. The pool was lovely and my kids spent lots of time in it. The pool has a very shallow end, and the deep end isn't that deep either, so would be good for families with young children too. Would happily stay here again.
Disliked: We had no complaints at all. Be aware that the owners have a friendly labrador dog who likes to play and isn't shy about wandering in to your room if the door is open. Not an issue for us, but could be for some people.
