Liked: Really liked it all. Only 2 minor complaints.
Disliked: 1. No toilet on ground floor which was a nuisance while using dinning room or bar. 2. At night on returning we had bother getting our key into front door as it was pitch black and no lighting hitting the door.

Liked: It is extremely warm, comfortable and welcoming. We were visiting Paisley under stressful circumstances and were able to return to the hotel at night and enjoy a glass of malt whiskey besides a roaring wood fire.
Disliked: Nothing

Exceptional. I stayed 3 nights...

Liked: Breakfast choice excellent. I had full Scottish, yoghurt and fruit. I had dinner twice. Wonderful home cooked cuisine. Lovely little bar, roaring fire in the living room. Friendly and hospitable hosts.
Disliked: Nothing.

Exceptional

Liked: Staff were wonderful, looked after us fabulously. And very knowledgeable of the local history, time to chat, have a wee laugh and made you feel very welcome. Paisley has a rich history. Loved the log fire, so cosy at night. We were given an upgrade, and the room was as big as our whole flat. The bathroom was lush, massive bath and shower. Would like to go back on a leisure trip.

Liked: The service and atmosphere was second to none. Warm and friendly hosts, a fine room, and a superb cooked breakfast. Right in the centre of Paisley.

Wonderful small country house style...

Liked: Wonderful small country house style hotel, perfectly located in the centre of Paisley. Peaceful and quiet with free car parking in the grounds. Staff were exceptional, a great warm welcome and an enthusiasm for us as guests.Hotel rooms are exceptional, every modern comfort but with period charm. A lovely garden area to the rear that we can't wait to try in future visits when we've a little more time and the seasons warm up.Overall, great value and couldn't have asked for anything better for our stay.

Liked: Very Friendly staff, accommodating and kind, beautiful lounge and dining area, great location. Bar is really well stocked. External grounds and building itself is absolutely beautiful. Very clean and clearly had improvements made to bathrooms and lounge areas. Water pressure in shower is brilliant. Brilliant location for airport and free parking. Room was a great size and we were upgraded free of charge which was a lovely surprise. Bed was very comfortable.
Disliked: The room itself was a little run down, even though we were upgraded at no extra cost which was such a lovely surprise and we were so grateful- no fridge available in room, windows were damp and slightly damaged, but can be expected in an old building with character. No real complaints and did not affect the stay.
