Great, peaceful location and smart...

Liked: Easy check-in, very smart, clean and well maintained room. Breakfast was really good - choice of cooked or continental style. Lovely setting away from any town or busy road, but easily accessible from M40.
Disliked: Some coffee options would be good - the filter coffee was OK, but I quite like an espresso in the morning.The actual accommodation buildings are modern and clash a little with the beautiful old reception building, but this is a minor gripe!

Liked: Nice location near Warwick and Leamington Spa. Main property/ reception was nice however the blocks that the room was based in was very much like student accommodation. The room was relatively clean.
Disliked: Very small room with little facilities for the price we paid. Very little information on arrival in regards to breakfast and dinner. We went to get dinner to find that there was a large Christmas party on and were told it would be a 45 minute wait for food which resulted in us going elsewhere offsite. When booking, it said GF friendly however there was 1 option on the dinner menu and next to no choice with breakfast buffet. We went for a walk around the area, to come back to locked gates in which our vehicle was still in the hotel car park. I was extremely disgusted in the fact that no one told us throughout our stay that the property closes from Saturday through to Sunday afternoon which resulted in our car being locked in the gates, with no one to contact (the phone number provided was not taking calls). We had to jump a wall and interrupt a neighbour who kindly let us in the gates to get the car out, otherwise we would have been totally stuffed, no bags, belonging or car!
