Disliked: Heaters didn't work in either room they initially put me in or changed me to. 20 degrees outside and heat wasn't on in either room upon check-in, temp in room was probably 40 degrees. Blamed me for "not knowing how to use the heater" when the heat button in the first room 2 was literally MISSING, and the heater in room 29 blew cold air on heat setting. What they don't want overnight guests to know is that they have permanent residents that live on the back side of the motel. One of them kept knocking on my door asking for cigarettes and asking if I was okay, then peeking in my car when I was in the room. We left within 5 minutes of checking in room 29 because I was worried for the safety of myself and my kids. I requested an immediate refund, but the front desk replied through booking.com that I didn't make them aware of any of the problems. I did. They refused my refund and charged me a cancellation fee when I didn't even feel safe OR WARM enough to stay there. Rooms were dirty and severely neglected. There were donuts in the fridge of the second room, so obviously the BASIC cleaning isn't done. Don't be desperate enough to stay, they're making their money on online bookings with no refund policy. Drive the extra 15-20 minutes into Sturbridge or towards Hartford.
