Perfect hostel in city centre

Good night with friends but...

Liked: Front of house staff was very nice and checked me in despite being early. offered me opportunity to leave bag while I went to get something to eat. The hostel in ideally located to city centre - minutes walk from O'Connell Street, Temple Bar etc. Bed was very comfortable. Shower while looking a bit old n quite small did provide a decent warm shower with good pressure.
Disliked: For the price I paid for the room 177.00 euros I thought the facilities in it would be a bit better hence going for the single room as opposed to a shared room. I have stayed in hotels in Dublin previously for a lot less with a lot better facilities etc. For example on checkout I had to return the duvet cover to the main reception area. The sink in the bathroom had no plug so was not able to have a decent shave. The room it self was quite small and there was no TV or any tea/coffee facilities in room. The stairs up to the room were quite worn and wooden and during the night it was quite noisy with people moving about the place. I also think some form of noise reduction method should be used on the windows - got woken up at approx. 05:30am by a pigeon on my window who insisted on cooing for the next hour or so.
