Overlooking the River Cam Arundel House Hotel is just a 10-minute walk from Cambridge's historic center. The Victorian hotel has a conservatory restaurant and free WiFi. Accessed by stairs only the elegant bedrooms each have a private modern bathroom and tea/coffee facilities. All rooms are traditionally decorated and some are located in the charming former coach house building while others are in an annex. The bright and airy restaurant serves a modern European menu while the Conservatory Brasserie offers light lunches and afternoon teas. Hearty cooked breakfasts are also available daily. Loved the location but hotel...

Liked: Location brilliant
Disliked: Very tired, dated bed was very small bathroom needs replaced , breakfast was poor

There are many better options...

Liked: Handy for the centre of Cambridge.
Disliked: Dated decor. Musty smell in the corridors. Toilet didn’t flush properly. Not enough plugs in the room. Expensive parking.

Good, convenient hotel for exploring...

Liked: Room was spotless, plenty of tea/biscuits provided, good options for breakfast, lunch and dinner, nice conservatory and garden in the back, lovely view over river and Jesus Green from the front, just a 15 minute walk into town centre
Disliked: having to pay extra for car parking if you book via booking.com - someone needs to sort that out!!
