Overlooking the River Cam Arundel House Hotel is just a 10-minute walk from Cambridge's historic center. The Victorian hotel has a conservatory restaurant and free WiFi. Accessed by stairs only the elegant bedrooms each have a private modern bathroom and tea/coffee facilities. All rooms are traditionally decorated and some are located in the charming former coach house building while others are in an annex. The bright and airy restaurant serves a modern European menu while the Conservatory Brasserie offers light lunches and afternoon teas. Hearty cooked breakfasts are also available daily. Our stay was very enjoyable...

Liked: The staff were very nice and accommodating. It was clean. We were happy with our room and the location.
Disliked: There is no lift,. We are older and was difficult going up & down the steps. The breakfast was so-so.

Good

Liked: Good location and decent price compared to other hotels. Nice lounge and bar area. Room was a decent size and overlooked the park. Staff were great.
Disliked: The plumbing and general state of the bathroom. Toilet didn't flush properly, and the shower head was filthy. No lift.

For us it was just...

Liked: Fantastic place to stay spotless, staff very friendly nothing too much trouble. Food excellent.
Disliked: Very clean, decorated in style of property. Very comfortable we had a road facing room and slept very well.
