Liked: The location is really good. There are plenty of shops around and the nearest metro station is 10 min walking.The pressure of the showers is also good.
Disliked: My room was next to the reception and I could hear all what was happening in the corridors. The door and walls don't really block any of the noises from outside. That disturbed me specially in the mornings...

Quirky hotel with lots of...

Liked: Great location. Lovely old Jugendstil building with lots of original appliances (e.g. wood cabin elevator). Friendly and helpful owner/operator who obviously loves what he does. The opposite of a chain like Motel One.
Disliked: One mattress needs replacing. The owner/operator was very friendly and helpful; the lady serving breakfast not so much (no greeting, no goodbye, had to coax the breakfast options out of her).

Liked: Location was for me good - a half hour walk to Berliner Festspiele. Nice neighborhood. The breakfast was a BIT expensive, but very nicely presented and the staff were super friendly and eager to please. The bed was really comfortable, and I usually have a problem on my 'first night' .... room and bathroom were super clean, really appreciated that.
