C Griffin, Birmingham, visiting Conway Hall London Sun, 18 January 2015
The hotel is conveniently situated within easy walking distance of Kings Cross Station, and many different options for eating out. Our room was small but comfortable, with a new ensuite; very clean and quiet, being at the back of the building. I would not hesitate to return to Arriva Hotel.

Value for money given the location.
Liked: Very comfortable bed, very clean, new looking bathroom with great shower
Disliked: Tiny room, very thin walls - could hear the person next door snoring and a lot of noise from the corridor

I enjoyed my stay and...
Liked: The room was spacious and en suite facilities were good. It was also pretty quiet, which given the central London location was great. There was a fridge in the room, which would have been useful if I’d known about it on advance.
Disliked: The duvet on the double bed was quite a thin one, so I had to borrow the duvet from the single bed to add to it. The hotel does not provide breakfast, but this wasn’t a problem, as I was able to get breakfast locally.

Served our purpose
Liked: Very clean with coffee/ tea facilities. Quiet, comfy bed.
Disliked: Initially very disappointed. Small space, very dated. Carpet very bad. Then realised that nothing specifically wrong for a reasonable priced room just where we wanted in London

I love ARRIVA and I...
Liked: Reception very welcome, nice, cordial and very helpful. The rooms were always found clean and tidy
Disliked: I do not like the main door open on the outside. This makes it difficult for seniors to pull up the three starirs, heavy luggage and manage the door opening over you at the same time. A very good idea would be to reverse the door opening for the inside.it is comfortable to have the floor carpeted, but heavy luggage do not move with ease, a good solution is to have an overall hard palstic passage/carpet on which to pull the luggage. At one time the room was too hot and the central heating could not be turned off.
