They charged me twice and...

Disliked: Horrible! The hotel is extremely noisy as it faces the street, and there is no soundproofing at all. On top of that, I had to switch rooms because the heater was broken.During check-in, the receptionist asked for my card to process the payment. I asked if I could use my debit card, and he confirmed it was fine. I converted my currency (BRL to USD) at the reception to make the payment. Shockingly, the receptionist charged the wrong amount—over $400 more—and claimed it was just a pre-authorization that would be refunded at check-out.Every single day, I asked someone at the reception about the refund, but they kept stalling, saying everything was fine. At check-out, they once again assured me that the refund would happen that day.Unbelievably, and irresponsibly, this horrible hotel not only charged my credit card without my knowledge or authorization, but they also charged my debit card! Now I’m stuck with two charges—one on each card—plus the additional $400 that they overcharged me.I’ve sent countless emails, called them multiple times, and messaged them through Booking.com, but these irresponsible people just keep passing me from one person to another without resolving anything.This hotel is the epitome of irresponsibility and disrespect. A total disaster. The worst place I have ever stayed in my entire life!
