Great location, nice staff, comfortable...

Liked: Location was great. We could see Millenium Park from our window. Bed was comfortable. Restaurant was great and staff was friendly.
Disliked: Coffee was nasty, or maybe our maker was broken. We thought there was valet, but there isn’t. Make sure you ask for water. It’s included in your “resort fee”!

Liked: Location, staff was great but my room had a shared door with my neighbor room. I asked for a new room but landed in the same situation but on a different floor.
Disliked: I did not like that my room (1603) had a shared door (!) with the neighbor room :-(I could hear my neighbor arriving, leaving the room, going to the bathroom, closing the bathroom door, zipping the suitcase, turning on the TV, etc ☹This was very annoying. I asked for a new room but got a similar room with a shared door on a different floor. ☹

Liked: The highlight of staying in Arlo was the staff. Very Kind, helpful and accommodating.
Disliked: No comments

Good location, decent price, nice...

Liked: The beds were decent, polite check in, staff all nice. Would have given it more stars but unfortunately I accidentally left some clothes on a hanger. $60 worth. After MANY attempts to contact management/ housekeeping, and after filing 2 claims, I have heard nothing back. There was no way that the housekeeping staff did not find it because it was on the hanger that the robe included in the room would’ve needed to be hung back up on when the room was cleaned. That part was very disappointing.
Disliked: No follow up on the $60 clothes left behind. The pillows could also be replaced.

Great location and price

Liked: Location near Macys, Bean and Michigan Ave shopping
Disliked: No slightly early checkin for any of our 4 rooms

Loved the hotel, really resented...

Liked: The location was excellent, the bed was very comfortable and the staff were friendly. Bathroom and lotions etc. were really nice.
Disliked: I really objected to having to pay an extra $25 'urban fee' (+ $5 tax) per day on top of what I was expecting. I could use a $15 credit voucher from this towards food but the restaurant was expensive and the voucher not valid until after 3pm, so this felt like a bit of a scam that I was bounced into when checking in. Also, the affiliated parking garage was extremely expensive, even with a discount ($40/day), which added $160 to the stay.

Liked: Friendliness of staff and some of the interior design was really nice
Disliked: That we didn’t get to stay the full 7 nights initially intended due to an error with flight booking which was a completely separate booking
