Ok for one night

Liked: Stayed over for a night out. Hotel was ok for one night. The sheets were clean, the curtains were thick, and there was no traffic noise. Expensive for a single room and single bed in a tired building.
Disliked: Room was up three flights of stairs. No lift. The lock didn't work properly. The room needs redecorating. It had been cleaned but there was mould under the sealant and on the shower head. There was also a spider on my pillow. No problem for me because I know old buildings come with spiders. I was woken up at 7am by a pungent smell of bacon. It was so pungent it was difficult to breathe,so fumes might be filtering from somewhere. Not the worst hotel I've stayed at in Glasgow, but wouldn't go back if I had another alternative

Good location, clean and comfortable

Liked: Good location and easy reach of Botanical gardens , transport into Glasgow and bars and cafes.
Disliked: There was no residents lounge as shown on photos for hotel. Just a room set up for breakfast.

Disappointing
