Excellent for a Glasgow trip

Liked: Friendly staff, excellent breakfast, great location. Room was small but I was traveling solo so no problem with that. The room was very clean.

Lovely Hotel For a Short...

Liked: The hotel was lovely, perfect for a short break. Located just out of the city centre, for peace and quiet, but also conveniently close to bus stops, and Kelvinbridge Subway for getting about the city. Plenty of amenities nearby too, if you don't want to wander far.The hotel staff were pleasant and friendly, the room was clean and comfortable, and breakfast was very nice too!Would definitely consider coming back!

Never again

Liked: Comfy (if small) single bed. Clean
Disliked: I'd asked for a room away from main road and the male receptionist couldn't have been more unhelpful. So, room at the front it was - and be warned on a Saturday night you'll get NO sleep until about 4.30am when all the drunks have finally stopped shouting and gone home. Tiny reading light above the bed was broken Shower absolutely hopeless; when reading other reviews about the place, one mentioned that the shower pressure on the ground floor was good and I thought that's a bit of an odd thing to mention, but now I know - it's because the pressure on the first floor where I stayed was pathetic. And the useless shower unit didn't help...more like a light misting rather than an actual shower.Bathroom mirror light unit broken.

Needs some love and affection

Liked: Beds were comfy. Good pillows and 2 each! Great location for botanic garden. Parked for free (saturday evening overnight) on the street. Good heaters in the room warmed up the room quickly. Bathroom clean but shower leaked a bit as door not tightly fitted. Cooked breakfast decent apart from the sausages. Lovely breakfast room. Good supply of tea&coffee in our room.
Disliked: Corridor light shone under the big gap at the bottom of the door so had to use a rolled up towel to block it out. Curtains didn't close properly so didn't block out the light or offer privacy. I could see people outside walk by (ground floor). Important in a family room that the light doesn't come in too early and wake the little ones. Shower needs a new shower head-leaking. Not the most spacious room but good-sized beds. Towels a bit thin, and small if you're a tiny bit bigger than average size. Our room was a bit cramped. Not a lot of space at the end of the beds. Some damp in the room around the window area. Overall needs a wee bit of maintenance but was handy for our visit.

OK stay

Liked: The breakfast although small simple location was lovely. Handy area for our desired location.
Disliked: No parking. We had to park a 10/15 minute walk away. Charges outside Hotel were crazy. No glasses in room. Bathroom very small.
